This workshop provides participants with an understanding of value chain concepts and their application in the agricultural food sector. Participants will learn how to identify key actors, activities, and linkages within agricultural value chains, as well as strategies for enhancing value addition, competitiveness, and sustainability.

This workshop focuses on strategic development within the agricultural food sector value chain, providing participants with the tools and frameworks needed to design and implement value chain strategies that enhance competitiveness, sustainability, and market access. Participants will learn how to identify strategic opportunities, address key challenges, and foster collaboration among value chain stakeholders.

This workshop aims to introduce participants to an innovative smallholder farming model that is commercially viable, environmentally sustainable, and requires minimal capital and financial resources. Drawing inspiration from the Netherlands National Agriculture Model and Dr. Emma Naluyima's approach in Uganda, the workshop focuses on implementing this model on a one-acre land size. The workshop will be conducted in two parts, with one part held in a classroom setting and the other part on a selected farm.

This workshop provides participants with the knowledge and skills to leverage software applications for efficient and effective project management. Participants will learn how to select, implement, and utilise project management software tools to streamline project planning, scheduling, tracking, and communication. Software Applications like MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Access; MS Project & MS Works; SPSS & Stata; Other Applications will be discussed.

This workshop offers participants insights into the planning and execution of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) interventions. Through practical case studies and interactive sessions, participants will learn the essential steps involved in developing, implementing, and managing successful PPP projects across various sectors.
